Frederick George Windsor Benwell, known as Freddie, joined the Lodge at the age of 51 on 23 October 1974. He served as ADC from 1975-1977 and presented a box of twenty-four firing glasses to the Lodge in 1975.
He was a Publican, landlord of the Bird in Hand in Mayford, Woking.
He was a Past Master of Thornton Heath Lodge No 2985 and the Lodge of Hospitality No 7927.
He moved away from London in 1978.
