Captain Hubert Larchin was commissioned into the 1st Cadet Battalion, the Queen’s (Royal West Surrey Regiment) in 1894 and promoted Lieutenant and Captain. He resigned in 1904.
He was initiated into the Lodge on 27 November 1918, at the age of 51.
He ran a boarding house in the property that he occupied with his daughter Irene Mary Beatrice at 141 Albert Palace Mansions, Lurline Gardens, Battersea.
