Major Paul Warwick Redway TD JP was the son of Warwick Richard Redway and Eva Gladys Burr. He was educated at the Royal Grammar School, High Wycombe, between 1930 and 1935 where he was a corporal in the CCF.

He was commissioned into the Regiment in 1937 (see the Pre-War Army List below) and served with the Regiment during the Second World War. He was on sick leave in 1940 when the 1st Bttn mobilised and remained with the echelon.

He was promoted Captain in May 1945, he retired due to disability in December the same year and was granted the honorary rank of Major. He was granted an ACF commission in 1947 in the North Riding of Yorkshire. He was granted the TD in 1959.

After the was he joined the Skinningrove Iron Company Ltd as an assistant sales manager, before being promoted, becoming a Director and General Sales Manager.

He married and had three children and lived near Whitby, Yorskshire and became a Magistrate.
