Adolf Moritz Oberdoerffer joined the Lodge in December 1861 having been initiated in the Westbourne Lodge No 1035 (now No 733).
Having filled the offices to Senior Deacon misfortune befell our brother and he was forced to seek relief first from the Lodge and then the Board of benevolence due to to persons indebted to him. Humbled and grateful he resigned to avoid further burden falling upon his Brethren but sadly his widow was forced once again to seek help after his death in September 1891.
